Where's Roxie? Week 4

So due to the weather and getting the new website live, Roxie didn't see anywhere but the inside of her office and the the front of her laptop! My appologies, but I will try to gather some extras in my travels as the weather improves. If you haven't looked at the new website you can find it at www.roxannesweddings.com and my main site will also be swapping over to that soon...I have more to add and change but I do think its HUGE improvement over the old one, but maybe thats just my opinion as its was the same one for far too long, i like to try and keep things fresh....anyway...last week I was in Bowdoinham, in case the smelt shacks didn't give it away enough!

The Knot's Best of Weddings Pick...Year 2

Happy to announce that I have been chosen to receive The 2012 Best of Weddings Pick from The Knot...one of the largest online wedding planning websites.

I rushed things a little to get it up to replace the old one...so look for more images to be added over the next week or two. But I hope you all enjoy the new look!

A few extras from my travels....

This was the sunset coming back from my day of shooting for the Where's Roxie series this week. This image is directly off the camera, as shot, no retouching, etc...it was AMAZING. The rest were along the way back and this sunset shot was the final shot of the day, I had to share these but they are not in the same town or area as the "where's roxie" images, so I couldnt in good faith put them in the same post. As I play catch up from this past summers wedding season and launch the new website, I will be sharing some images from weddings and engagements too among this fun little series. Thanks for reading!

Where's Roxie? Week 2

So this week I decided to wait until after the big snowstorm that was long overdue for this time of year and see what I could find after the snow finally coated our beautiful state...can anyone figure out where I was?? Its a great little town and one that should be visited any time of year, but I am pretty sure gets allot more traffic in the summer months. Where's Roxie? Week One....

Starting off the New Year right, and this new series I went to a place many of you know is near and dear to my heart and I know it is to many of you as well...some of these images will give it away in a minute if you are remotely familiar to the area, others were just fun for me to shoot...so...where was Roxie this week??

Where's Roxie???

I have been making allot of changes recently here at Roxanne Ashey Photography. I will post about more of those changes in seperate entries...but one of the new changes is one for me personally to go out and play a little more.

It's how this all started for me, and somewhere along the line as it became more of a business, especially once it was my full time business, I played still while at work but not so much just for me.

Well that is all changing, beginning now. I am making it my new mission to go someplace in the state of Maine, and boy do we have a large and beautiful state by the way, once every week and do some photographs just for me.

But I want to share those images with you and to make this a little more fun for all of us, i plan to post my images weekly and see if you can guess where i was. I may go near or far or very far from my home base.
