Sunday River in the Fall

Heidi and Chris were married this fall at Sunday River ski resort, and it couldn't have been a more prefect day. The weather had been a little iffy but it turned out spectacular. These are just a few of my favorites of this wonderful couple from that day.

Old Port Fun

Felicia and Jeff had one of the most unique weddings of my season this year. They were married on the steps of Portland's City Hall, had dinner with guests at Margarita's and then danced the night away at Old Port Tavern. In between all of that, we roamed the Old Port and took a few fun photos...this is always fun to do as an engagement session too.

This summer I had the privilege to work with some amazing couples. Jim and Monique were no exception. Their wedding was held at the Poland Springs All Saints Chapel and the reception was at the Hilton Garden in by the river in Auburn. These are just a few images from their day.

"Cuteiful"-Kelly and Spenser's Engagement Session

So Spenser tells Kelly she is "cuteiful" because she is both cute and beautiful....well that is THE perfect word to describe this couple! We played a little yesterday to warm up for working together in a couple more months when I shoot their wedding.

The weather has been so nice, we did a spring outdoor shoot but the leaves were still here from fall and dry enough to play with...so we did.

I love when I get to work with couples like this before the wedding day so by then, we are all old friends and doesn't seem like anything but more fun on the wedding day...most of my packages include an engagement session for this reason.

Even if you are already married, or haven't set a date, or are just dating with no ring yet...come in and schedule a play date with me...they are lots of fun and you get some great photos showing how in love you are! Sessions start at 60.00. Thats less than dinner and a movie and lasts soooo much longer...

Congrats Kelly and Spenser, thanks for loads of fun and I can't wait for June!

Catie & Chris-Orr's Island Wedding

Saturday June 14th was a gorgeous day here in Maine to be outside enjoying just about any activity...for Catie and Chris it was a beautiful day to get married by the ocean. Catie was married in the same spot as her dad and several other family members on private property on Orr's Island-a small island just outside of Brunswick. It is beautiful tradition in a beautiful place.

The couple met at the gym and both love spending time outdoors-in fact Catie was once a guide in the Forks, so this wedding day was the perfect fit for them both.

And I have to say, they had one of the most unique, amazing cakes I have ever seen...trimmed with cedar, blueberries, small pine cones, and birch bark, all sitting on a piece of wood that came from the property that they were married on.

Here are some of my favorites from today-and with a beautiful day in such a great location and an amazing couple, it was hard to choose just a few.

Congratulations Catie and Chris.

Maria & Matt's Wedding

After recharging (both my camera batteries and MY batteries) overnight and allowing the skies to clear, I headed off to Portland on Sunday morning June 1st to shoot the wedding of Maria and Matt at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Their pastor told the beautiful story of how the 2 met through the choir and the progressing of their falling in love. And now to the beginning of a new family, of Matt, Maria and Maria's son-Tyler.

Their reception was at Verrillo's also in Portland, where happiness filled the entire place, from everyone there-friends, family, church family and of course the bride and groom.

Here are some of my favorites from their day.

Congratulations to you all-Maria, Matt and Tyler.

Jessica and Bryan-Harraseeket Inn

The rain came back again for this Saturday's wedding and what had planned to be a garden wedding had to be held inside. But the skies cleared just enough after the ceremony to get a few outside photos.

Even though the weather was cloudy, this couple was beaming! The smiles on their faces and the the sparkles in their eyes were evidence of a bright future!

Here are some of my favorites from the day. Take a close look in particular to the cake photo where Bryan is feeding Jessica! (look at both his mouth and hers...) I love it! Open wide!

Congratulations on a beautiful wedding Jess and Bryan!

Becca and Fred-Camden, Maine

I had the privilege to capture the union of Becca and Fred this past weekend...The rain came out briefly but they were able to still have an amazing outdoor ceremony at the Camden Library Ampitheater.

It was a special day for not only them but one of their attendants as well. (Unfortunately that is all I can share with you at this time.) One of the things I love about my job is never getting tired of being there when two people this much in love make their life long commitment to each other.

Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Congratulations Becca and Fred.
